Thanks for visiting my blog and for the helpful advise. I'll see how I go. I really like your list. So many wonderful things for us to learn from these lovely blogs and so encouraging that people are bringing their Christianity into this area of daily life.
Blessings Gail
I'm going to try the 5 Spice Meatballs for dinner tonight.
B15 has netball training at 5pm (15kms out of town) so I hope to have them made up ready to fry off later when we get home.
I had a look at that blog - 'In other words - Enjoy life, stay home.
We set the table every night and have dinner as a family. Sometimes the kids groan bit I like to catch up with them about daily life before they hit the TV or computer/homework. Friday nights we usually have 'bowl food in our laps' then we eat dinner watching TV. We don't eat out much - there are only pubs to go to in our town and its either schnitzel and chips or steak. Hubby can cook better steak on the barby so he does that. Eating out for 4 would cost us over $80!
I love the Grace that that family says -
Thank you for the food before us
The friends beside us
And the love between us.
It says it all.
Have a nice day
Cheers - Joolz
We enjoyed the meatballs. I meant to write something about them while it was fresh in my mind, but I didn't get a chance. I know we were pleased with the recipes we tried this week.
"Indonesian Style Pork Spare Ribs

The perfect accompaniment to this dish is Chinese Green Tea.
