Simple Woman's Daybook
FOR TODAY Wednesday...
Outside my window... it is a beautiful day today, the road bikes our out and it is nice and relaxing
I am thinking... about why I have been in denial about this year, and now it is nearly over! What will happen next year, if I couldn't handle it being this year? With kids things keep going if you are ready or not, life too I think
I am thankful for... not so many bills this week
I am wearing... new jeans, orange t-shirt
I am remembering... to write a food shopping list for tomorrow, very tired now, should have a lie down, have been doing bills and ordering fruit, you need to take a break to stop mistakes happening, picked up little daughter from school, went to the library and talked to our second son who was disappointed with his test, and spoke to mil, usually I would have had my rest before I went to school
I am going... to take my little girl to get some shoes and clothes, I hope I have some luck to make it worth while driving, and it probably will be a little hotter
I am reading... I just finished Fools Puzzle by Earlene Fowler, I seem to be able to relate to it better on the second reading
I am hoping... to find some shorts that don't stain, but don't look too cheap
On my mind... will we be able to paint lots when we finally get to it, we sort of have a deadline, again
Noticing that... there is a giant rhododendron at the park with giant flowers
Pondering these words... "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;" ~ Ephesians 6:14
From the kitchen... Bucatini with Salsa Verde
Around the house... hamper catalogues for Christmas this year and next
One of my favourite things... The Benni Harper mysteries, hopefully I can read them all again
From my picture journal... these flowers are out now by the roadside near our newer house
