Give Me Five Monday

Give Me Five memorable things you have done before.

I have put this post off for days now. I couldn't think of anything to say, and I did put some thought into it. I guess too, I have been a little sick, so that didn't help. Still looking around for more inspiration and came across a quiz where you say what you have done.

I took the 43 Things Personality Quiz and found out I'm an
Organized Self-Knowing Romantic

One of the questions was about motorbikes. I have tried to learn how to ride one by myself with mixed success.

Are the things in the list memorable, I suppose not all of them.

Learning to swim was memorable. I taught myself to dog paddle in my aunty's pool. The memorable part was that she didn't like people leaning on the sides. I did what my parents and my aunty and uncle lived close to us, so I did what they asked as well. I was near the sides, and she thought I was leaning on it. I wasn't good at handling that sort of thing. Like getting yard duty at school for doing something I didn't do, or doing my homework again, hours and hours of it because the teacher said I hadn't done it.

So I have (and continuing on in that theme):

1. I learnt to swim
2. I "learnt" to ride a motorbike for a minute or two or three, don't ask me to do anything fancy
3. I learnt to play piano
4. I learnt to play guitar
5. I learnt to rake hay! Yes, with a tractor.

There were lots of memorable moments in those. I loved listening to the students before me in piano lessons, being in a different house than just the homes of my Mum's friends, though they were very interesting as well.

Guitar was either in another school to mine, or the RSL hall which was interesting too. And hay, I enjoyed that a lot.

Hey Linda

I was just about to comment on the lovely photo of they hay bales...that I thought you took...when I realised it was a web pic! Nearly gave you the credit. Lol! It is a lovely photo, though.

Cheers - Joolz

Hi, Linda,

I notice your new background; I like it. :)

I think you are brave to learn how to ride a motorbike! Also, raking hay is impressive to me, since I have never even used a riding lawn mower. I get hay fever, so my husband and some of the children do all the yard work.

I'll try the test later on. See you later. :)

Hi, again, Linda. I took the test: Extroverted Spiritual Self-Knower

It's funny that I am a quiet person, but have been getting the result 'extroverted'. Maybe that just means I'm interested in other people?
