Happy Homemaker Monday

The weather in my neck of the woods:
Sunday frost on the roof, but not an overly cold day.

One of my simple pleasures:
hearing the rain on the roof, which it is today Monday, pouring down.

On my bedside table:
Janette Oke, it is a four in one story.

On my TV:
Wife Swap USA
Australian Idol
Property Ladder

On the menu for tonight:
my menu has become very confusing. It will be pork mince, I think I will have to vary my menu and have Pork Chow Mein, i.e. pork mince with wombuk

On my To Do list:
ordering less than $250 worth of ringgits, or money they use in Malaysia. I have seen the Singapore dollars, didn't realise my daughter would be shopping in ringgits until my husband mentioned it a couple of days ago.

New Recipe I tried last week:
Jam Doughnut Muffins

In the craft basket:
Nothing.

Looking forward to:
Watching Suzi Quatro on Australian Idol next week. She is the guest mentor and perhaps judge. I had an older friend who took me horse riding with another girl her age. When I happened to go to her house she was always playing Suzi Quatro. I used to ride around for 8 miles with them on Sundays, for a little while when I was 8. I like 48 Crash.

Homemaking Tip for this week:
Bread roll, Coles tuna tomato & chilli with cream cheese and cucumber.

This photo was taken on my husband and daughter's trip last Sunday to the capital city of our State, quite a long drive. This was taken just when we get down from the mountains which is perhaps 45 minutes.



Lesson learned the past few days:
I don't like Weisswurst pieces fried and put into my pasta sauce.
