30 Days of Thanksgiving ~ Day 27 Friday


~ spotting a native animal in the park
~ a friendly lady up the street asking about my girls
~ lovely secondhand bookshop to visit, great books there and a nice lady who made me laugh
~ tortoise crossing the road
~ BLT sandwiches for lunch
~ having a nice time while waiting for my son's bus, and everything going smoothly
~ my daughter having a Christian activity to go to for her age, and my teens having Youth Group, both involve teaching not just fun

Such nice things to be thankful for. I had to do a double take on that native animal. Then I realized you were in Australia. What the heck is that thing??

Sorry a bit confusing. That is a camel, the native animal I saw was an echidna, that I am posting pictures of on Tuesday.

I love the 30 Days of Thanksgiving theme. I want to join in next year.

Our pastor preached the most awesome sermon recently from the book of Job, making the point that Job loved the Lord for Himself, not for His good gifts. That's why Job could worship the Lord and say, "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." It was so encouraging.
