My red neck is showing again

The other day I posted a song by Steve Forde called I Ain't That Guy and added a commentary about the things I could relate to in the song. I thought I'd follow it up with how I raised my sons' which is the exact opposite lol. I thought of my favourite song by Lee Kernaghan that shows how I feel about being Australian, but I am afraid my red neck is showing again lol.

Here are the lyrics to Steve's song and you'll see what I mean:

I ain't that guy

Take your drink with your umbrella in it
and shove it same place you can put your speed limit
while your at it take your suit tie and jacket
your Armini shoes and your cute sunglasses

I ain't that guy
I ain't that guy
I ain't no G-Q worry-fied sushi lovin mr right crying sensitive kind
I ain't that guy

Keep your fuel efficient rubber band engine foreign compact with the luxury of zero emissions
Your 45 minute vanity visits
the loofa's and lotions with the vitamans in it

I ain't that guy
I ain't that guy
I ain't no G-Q worry-fied sushi lovin mr right crying sensitive kind
I ain't that guy

If it's good for you that suits me fine
if you do it like me you'll know why

I ain't that guy
I ain't that guy
I ain't no G-Q worry-fied sushi loving mr right crying sensitive kind
I ain't no G-Q worry-fied sushi loving mr right crying all of the time
I ain't that guy

Maybe I will tell you about the other more rounded parts of my childhood in another post.

Hi Linda,
I enjoyed both songs a lot! Some country music I don't care for, but I especially enjoyed the one that you said summarizes some of what you feel about being Australian. :)
