Skywatch Friday

These photos were taken on a trip my husband and son took to Leeton NSW via Henty NSW which is about four hours drive from here to pick up an ebay purchase. Yes, it was worth it lol. It was the weekend before last. I'm sorry they are not exactly in order, but more in groups.

Hi Linda,
These photos remind me of California, long ago, when you could still find some quiet, agricultural areas. The buildings look older, but nice and neat. Maybe it's the palm trees that make me think of southern California...

Could be the eucalypt too.

Beautiful photos. My favs were the shearing shed and the "crouching" mountain. And I loved the big, clear, blue sky. BTW, what ebay purchase was so great you were willing to drive four hours for - after being incapacitated with a bad back!

Blessings and bliss
Brigid

I think Leeton was before the bad back, but I didn't go to Leeton. It was a $60 mower with a $15 trade in.

A different shade of blue in each shot - lovely. What is the comma-shaped mountain?

I love looking at other people's environments, these were great. The shearing shed was my fave too. I wish I had taken my camera for all the years I worked in a shearing gang. I could have captured some beautiful old ramshackle buildings.
