More Microwave Cakes


This particular cake we made before I found the recipe again!


Little Icecream Cone Cakes

A packet cake is a handy back-up as a snack. Prepared batter will keep for one month in the refrigerator if tightly covered.

Ingredients:
1 flat-bottomed ice-cream cone
2 tablespoons cake batter
hundreds and thousands for decorating

Method:

Two-thirds fill ice-cream cone with cake batter.
Place cone off the centre of the turntable and microwave on High (90-100%) for 20-30 seconds. Cake should rise above sides of cone.

Stand for 30 seconds, then sprinkle with hundreds and thousands.

Variation:

Microwave 2 cones for 45 seconds on High
3 cones for 1 minute on high
4 cones for 1 1/4 minutes on high.
