This song is about the place where I live. I vaguely remember Smoky Dawson from my childhood. I found this video clip by watching CMC. Clancy is Clancy of the Overflow by A B Paterson related to The Man From Snowy River. There are interviews on YouTube, you may need tissues, I think for the first one.
