These photos were taken on the Hume Freeway around Gungadai and Yass, NSW on Australia Day weekend in January, (Australia Day 26th).

LOL. The first time my husband did that was in PA. Now he seems to always try to take pictures while driving. However, our son may have taken those, I must ask.

Actually it was NY.

Not living there I am not sure, but I think it is very quiet, like some other parts if not all of the Riverina.

It looks suspiciously like the photos were taken from the left side of the car, which means in our country the passenger may have taken the photos.

These are great looks like the road is a bit bare of cars which makes for a great drive.
It looks beautiful, I wish the freeway would be as empty from my place to Brisbane. I just love the big empty spaces.

These are lovely - i love to take pix from the car. I remember a song about Gungadai from an old cassette we had years ago of Australian folk songs, the man from snowy river was one and the wild colonial boy was one my son loved to sing as a kid, there was a bit of an irish link there too! So seeing this name took me back to Africa when we used to listen to this music!
