Back to Basics Challenge
Sowing seed or Planting
Thinking up some plants to buy for a sundial garden. I can use the lavenders we have in pots, a miniature rose that we already have. Will check ebay for tubes. I have a plant list from an old issue of Our House magazine.
Planning for The Future - meal planning, the next seasons garden plan, working out storage plans or more long term goals and projects like plans for digging root cellars
My husband weeded a garden so it could take the leaves we had already raked up.
We took advantage of the lower interest rates on our mortgage to make money available to drive to our new house more often or save for university, books and deposits for accommodation.
Working for the Future - storing food, managing stores, preserving, building that home made cob or solar oven, adding house insulation, saving for manual grain mills etc
My husband put the leaves that were already raked up onto the weeded garden.
Building Community - volunteering, donations, joining an existing community group, forming your own community group, taking a cake to a friend having a hard time, calling someone you just let drift out of your life, etc
We decluttered the built in wardrobe and got four shopping bags full of things to take to the op-shop.
Learn a new Skill
My husband helped my son learnt how to make buttonholes on the machine. It was a bit harder with the fur fabric.

It looks like things are rolling right along for you. Will you be spending most of your time at the new house now? Hugs
I am not sure about the house, now that the cat is better I suppose we will try again to stay there a little more. The plan is for a stint this week, but unsure how wise it is, haven't been able to think it through so I guess we will try it and see how we get on.
