Simple Woman's Daybook
FOR TODAY Saturday...
Outside my window... it is dark
I am thinking... I am winding down for the night
I am thankful for... the nice doctor my daughter and I went to this week
From the kitchen... Fusili, Broccoli & Pumpkin Bake
I am wearing... I am still wearing a skivvy under my windcheater. I did take it off for a little while, I was sitting outside on the step. It was quite warm, then by late afternoon it suddenly turned bitterly cold, yes and raining again. We have been getting lots of rain, yesterday it was constant, and I think it rained the day before as well. Yesterday it was an effort to keep dry while I was doing jobs for the girls up the street.
I am creating... a parcel to send to my Mum
I am going... to take my daughter to the school dentist, which is quite a drive and I get to grocery shop in a larger supermarket
I am reading... A Claim of Her Own by Stephanie Grace Whitson
I am hoping... we get all our little jobs done
I am hearing... a movie our eldest daughter is watching
Around the house... I think the last of the roses were pruned. Does anyone know how hard to cut back a spray cecile brunner?
One of my favorite things... the smell of one of our osmanthus, a dwarf one by the front door
A few plans for the rest of the week: I have lost track of where we are up to.
Here is picture thought I am sharing... the beginnings of a new sewerage system
Simple Woman's Daybook is hosted by Peggy.
