Happy Homemaker Monday
The weather in my neck of the woods:
6-17 oC. Winterish weather.
One of my simple pleasures:
On my bedside table:
Lynn Austin's A Woman's Place
On my TV:
Kirstie's Homemade Home
On the menu for tonight:
Broccoli & Bacon Pasta Bake
On my To Do list:
Working out travel plans
New Recipe I tried last week:
Bacon & Cauliflower Soup with Parmesan Crisps I wasn't happy with Coles bacon bones, not like the ones I can buy here, reminded my of creosote, I'm not being unkind, they are just very strong with not much meat
In the craft basket:
My husband kindly sewed up the skirt hem for our twelve year old, it is trendy to wear a pleated skirt
Looking forward to:
Going to the zoo
Homemaking Tip for this week:
Nothing I can think of
Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
Nothing that stands out just right now
Favorite photo from last week: the sign board of my daughter's trip. It is just as well we didn't all go the 5+ hours to see her off, as our little girl found when she had a bath she had chickenpox. She was immunised over 4 years ago and got a mild dose. I didn't know that on the day, but thankfully that turned out to be the case, you you would expect.
Lesson learned the past few days:
That soap shakers help mix the temperature of two taps. No wonder I got a little burnt once having the hot water sit in the mugs.
On my Prayer List:
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
Nothing that I remember, just issues from the novel, which is slightly overboard, but still worth thinking about. I did learn that intimidate is a version of timid.
