New Year Fun ~ 2009 Edition

I am joining in this meme I found at Sandra's blog Diary of a Stay at Home Mom, the author of Happy Homemaker Monday.

Here is what you do:

Post the first sentence of your first blog post of each month. You can also add a favorite picture from each month.

Happy New Year, and thank you to those who left New Year greetings.

I found this at Towards Sustainability.

My son's old flat that he moved into last January

Sowing seed or Planting
Not really planting weather I suppose.

Sometime in the year he lost his baby face

On Friday we wandered around the garden of our new house looking at the flowers.

Wild apples from the roadside

Lemon Tree... very pretty.

Bridge at Murray River

Look what greeted my husband and the kids on their way to school on Monday or Tuesday of last week.

My husband gardening, filling in the huge blank yard

FOR TODAY Tuesday...

Back to fog again

This week an interesting video of Backwoods Barbie by Dolly Parton.

The area that nearly lost it's buildings but for a windchange in the recent fires in December here.

FOR TODAY Saturday...

Eldest's graduation

Have you seen the new KFC ads?

Husband has to use the antique for awhile

13 Things I saw today:

Our eldest daughter in Kuala Lumpur on a scholarship

Thanks to the lovely Karen I found this blog carnival.

On Friday I went out to the interstate highway, (it is freeway most of the way) and stopped at the conveniences as I try to arrive early.

I really love these posts, it's so much fun to go back and reminisce and look at what we did throughout the year, isn't it?

Happy New Year to you and the family!

Hey, that's a cool idea. Think I may try it. Your son's ex-flat looks really nice. Happy New Year.

Happy New Year to you and your family, dear Linda!

I very much enjoyed this review of your posts throughout the year. I will get back to blogging sometime, I hope. :P I have been doing LOTS of cooking and baking and cleaning and visiting with the kids. Our two oldest sons have been home for almost two weeks to visit! <3
