Christmas Day 2010

I wanted to take a picture of these bottlebrushes the other day. They are at a bush toilet stop. While we were there we saw a wild deer and her baby, and heard a gang gang. There is a wattlebird in the bush.

Some sights on the way. On the way home I think they were setting up a stuffed Santa outside.

Now on the way home hoping to do some window shopping and photo taking in the old fashioned shops.

After toilet break which had a lovely surprise of soap for a change, foiled by the rain.

By this time my husband who had been driving our son's car is he had driven 5 1/2 hours to get to my Mums earlier, rescued me from my driving, which unfortunately wasn't good this particular time. I had the delight though of driving through a light amount of locusts. They had red stripes on their legs I think.

Nearly back home.

Here is a lovely post I read for Christmas.

Hi Linda
Merry Christmas. I stumbled upon a comment you left on my blog about your daughter learning Indonesian, making roti and using the word "manis". It was some time ago...

Anyway, just thought I'd drop by and say hello. Hope you had a nice Christmas and all the best for the new year.
Evelyn
